Looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team in Mount Pocono, PA to develop new businesses in Pennsylvana and willing and able to travel other states to expand both businesses, the commercial cleaning, Housekeeping and Staffing services.

Summary:
The primary role of the Business Development Manager is to develop and execute strategies to increase the company's sales, profitability, and customer base.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, including new products, services, and markets.
The Business Development Manager will also be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy to generate revenue from new customers, as well as managing existing accounts.
The Business Development Manager will report directly to the Vice President and CEO of Quality Service Companies.
Principal Duties &
Responsibilities:
Develop strategies to increase sales, profitability, and customer base.
Identify new markets and develop strategies to sell or service those markets.
Develop a sales strategy that includes generating new sales opportunities by selling products or services to existing customers.
Report on sales progress and other performance metrics regularly to the CEO of Quality Service Companies.
Attend regular meetings with marketing team and product management team to discuss product performance and market trends.
Work with Sales Manager on other duties as assigned.
Maintain good working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required in business administration or related field; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or Housekeeping, Staffing, Maintenance, Janitorial and commercial building facility sectors.
Hospitality experience required, hotels, casinos, resorts Ability to build rapport with clients; strong negotiation skills; ability to deal effectively with difficult situations; strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently; self-motivated; flexible schedule (normal business hours may be required).
Must be able to travel on short notice anywhere in the US - Excellent knowledge in reading, interpret and respond to RFPs - Excellent communication skills and comfortable in doing sales presentations - Maintain a database of prospects and leads to present company services - Willing to assist in some operational matters during the transition of new accounts - Prepare and maintain weekly activity logs on cold calls, proposals delivered, prospects visits and forecasting.
